Sales performance

For this performance exhibition, the Leipzig gallery Laden für Nichts was converted into a fashion boutique. Yet the clothes for sale were made of protective fabric against chemical warfare agents. In fact, even today, governments stock in chemical agent protective suits, or hazmat suits, to protect civilians in the case of chemical attacks. Our fashionable protective garments were all handmade and one-of-a-kind. Like all fashion makers, we sewed a label onto each piece of clothing and hung it on metal racks in our boutique space. Customers could try on clothes and have pieces custom-made during the "shop’s" opening hours.
