תְפִלָה / Prayer

An old rocking chair with twisted runners (feet). It transforms the “yes” gesture of nodding the head into a sideways movement, also in relation to the prayer gestures of certain groups in Judaism. By creating a movement of reflection, deliberation or ambiguity through (imagined) use, it thus represents a gesture that is also inherent to human faith and doubt.
