The Norwegian city of Bergen has the highest precipitation rate in all of Europes cities, an average of 2250mm per square meter on up to 350 rainy days a year. The city even uses this fact for marketing purposes. According to reports, some tourists who happened to visit Bergen on a clear day complained about the missing rain.

Selected places in Bergen will be equipped to make sure it permanently rains there – this might be passages, alleys and side streets, on a rotating scheme.
