Bertram Haude completely lined the room of the Hobbyshop producers’ gallery in Dresden with the bubble wrap that is usually used as packaging material. The ceiling, floor, windows and doors were also covered, creating an airtight room that could only be entered through an opening in a side door.

The sound of the bursting bubbles when entering the room and when leaning and sitting down was probably the first experience of this room installation. Once you had spent a little longer in the room, the amusement began to fade and a feeling of oppression and stuffiness could set in. This impression was intensified by the unusually dull acoustics, which further emphasized the closed nature of the room. Although air could be squeezed out of every centimeter, the feeling of suffocation could arise.
