The work refers to the following passage from the Gospel of Matthew: “Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus said unto him, I say not unto thee, until seven times: but, until seventy times seven.“ The 490 knots which the artist has made into the hairs invoke the use of knots as reminders. The veil made by the hair represents a curtain as used in religious buildings, but by using hair it´s a reminder inside the body too. Also the work is dealing with the meaning of "enough" even if we talk about things like interpersonal action or even about work that cannot be measured - like love, and therefore art too.
